Meet the Artist

I am an artist living in the Washington, DC, area. Originally from California, I moved to greener landscapes. I originally painted with waterclors, but ventured into oil painting because of the depth, dimension, and drama. Painting primarily from direct observation, I like to immerse myself in a scene, whether it is in a corner of a cornfield or a busy intersection of Georgetown. My favorite subjects are lanscapes, but I also enjoy painting flowers, and an occasional animal or human.
